Population status, roost selection and spatial ecology of the Greater Noctule Bat (Nyctalus lasiopterus) and the Common Noctule (Nyctalus noctula) in Catalonia

Jordi Camprodon and David Guixé just published the paper called “Population status, roost selection and spatial ecology of the Greater Noctule Bat (Nyctalus lasiopterus) and the Common Noctule (Nyctalus noctula) in Catalonia”, in the magazine Barbastella of the Spanish Association for Conservation and Study of Bats (SECEMU).

It’s presented the first results of the monitoring of the first two colonies of Greater Noctule and Common Noctule found in Catalonia, in the Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa Natural Park and the city of Lleida, respectively.
