“Aves amenazadas y agricultura: nuevas aproximaciones en las estrategias de conservación”

In the magazine LYCHNOS of June, it’s published an  article in the frame of  project SteppeAhead.

This paper presents a new perspective for the conservation of birds living in agricultural areas which have suffered a loss and habitat degradation due to the abandonment of farming activities and agricultural intensification, respectively. The main project objective is to harmonize socio-economic and conservation interests of a habitat, so that conservation action are integrated into the agricultural practices.

The LYCHNOS is the magazine of the “Fundación General CSIC” is a quarterly publication. In the June issue we present the R & D projects on endangered species and are funded by the “Fundació General CSIC” and Banco Santander.
